Spirited Mayfield battle to victory
Our U14s put on an excellent display of football above in Pitch 1 this afternoon in front of a huge crowd. Straight from the throw in our boys showed they were up for this when Daniel put over a well worked point. Vincents continued to battle and bring themselves into the game but our boys kept the scores coming and goals from Matthew and Daniel followed by points from Eolann, Ryan C and Duggy put us into a commanding lead at HT.
Credit to Vincent's, they came out and worked incredibly hard to get back into the game and a goal and 2 points had them right back in it. Our 6 backs stopped attack after attack after this as we took a hold on the game. Eolann jumped on a long ball in before rifling a bullet into the roof of the net. Further scores from the 2 Adams and another Eolann goal saw us run out winners on the day and take home the FE14 Shield
