Our Fe14 campaign came to an end on Sunday when our hurlers lost out in the Championship final against Whitechurch.
Playing against a stiff wind in the first half the lads found themselves behind early on with Whitechurch knocking over some great scores.
The lads soon got going though with some good scores of their own from Ryan Harrington & Jack Duggan.
The second half was much more evenly contested with both sides giving their all with some terrific goals scored keeping the supporters entertained.
In the end however the better team ran out winners which saw Whitechurch lift the Cup.
Thanks to everyone for their commitment over the last few weeks which allowed the team compete in both Hurling & Football Championship action and best of luck to all the players for the rest of the season in the remaining competitions
