Mayfield are into the Munster Junior Hurling Final after defeating Bodyke from Clare on a scoreline of 1-27 to 1-07. Mayfied had the better of the exchanges in the first half, going into the break leading on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-06. This was due in part to having a numerical advantage as a result of a sending off early in the game. In the second half, the forwards clicked into gear and scored 16 points to Bodyke's 1. It was a super team performance, fitting for such an important game being played at home. Well done to everybody who assisted on the day and during the week to ensure that the facilities were ready for the occasion. It's on to the Munster Final on December 4th now!
